AAA, which gives Diamond ratings to restaurants and hotels around the country to quickly clue their members in to the top dining establishments and hotels, has rated several Louisville restaurants Four Diamonds, their next-to-highest rating. Their highest rating, Five Diamonds, was awarded to The Oakroom at the Seelbach Hilton Hotel in downtown Louisville. AAA said in its announcement of the ratings that only 0.3 percent of the nearly 59,000 hotels and restaurants that AAA approves receive the Five Diamond rating.

Four Louisville restaurants and six Louisville hotels made this year’s AAA list of establishments that received its Four Diamond rating. Kentucky didn’t have any hotels on the Five Diamond list.

Corbett’s, An American Place, 5050 Norton Healthcare Blvd.; the English Grill at the Brown Hotel, 335 W. Broadway; Vincenzo’s Restaurant, 150 S. Fifth St.; and Z’s Oyster Bar & Steakhouse, 101 Whittington Pkwy. and 115 S. Fourth St. all received Four Diamond ratings.

The Louisville hotels that received Four Diamond ratings are 21c Museum Hotel, the Brown Hotel, Embassy Suites Louisville Downtown, Louisville Marriott Downtown, Marriott Louisville East and the Seelbach Hilton Louisville. The 21c Museum Hotel in Lexington also received a Four Diamond rating.
