While some may debate about how early stores should decorate for Christmas, it’s never to early to start Christmas shopping to find the perfect gifts – especially if there’s an opportunity to taste good bites and have delicious cocktails while you shop. This weekend, the  Jewish Community Center of Louisville, 3600 Dutchman’s Lane will host their fourth annual free Snowflake Shoppe with a preview party on Saturday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and shopping on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

At the free preview party Saturday, shoppers will be able to have first selection at over 75 vendors with free entry, but they can also purchase VIP tickets for $20 to enjoy the many appetizers from True North Catering and Baked Louisville, a swag bag, a chance to win prizes, and a drink ticket for a creamy Minty Snowflake cocktail, which features Ballotin Mint Chocolate Whiskey, vodka, and half & half. With A VVIP ticket ($50), guests can enjoy all of those perks plus another drink ticket and a gift bag valued at over $125. There are only 30 VIP tickets and 20 VVIP tickets available.

“Our goal is to make shopping local easy for everyone by bringing local vendors together under one roof,” says Snowflake Shoppe co-chair Nikki Grizzle. “The event keeps getting better each year, and we can’t wait for everyone to see some of the exciting things we have planned for the Saturday night preview party.”

Gifts available for purchase will include leather goods, candles, customized wreaths, monogrammed gifts, hand-painted glassware, wine accessories, local handmade jewelry, jewelry from nationally known vendors, health and skin care products, locally handcrafted soaps, pet items, toys, books, women and children’s clothing and accessories, home decor, Kentucky Proud items and more.

Snowflake Shoppe VIP Lounge Appetizers include: Mini snowflake sugar cookies, blue cheese, grapes, fried green tomatoes, bourbon balls, s’mores, and mini loaded biscuits
