A  collection of rosés from different french regions is coming to Brasserie Provence, 150 N. Hurstbourne Pkwy, for the summer solstice on Thursday, June 21st at 6:30pm! Advanced level sommelier Julie Defriend will be there from Vintner Select for this annual 5-course rosé wine dinner, paired with Chef Patrick Gosden’s French summertime menu. The rosé wine dinner is $75 per person plus tax and gratuity. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 502-883-3153.

Guests are welcomed at the reception with a glass of Domane Guidon, Côteaux d’Ancenis 2017 along with a cucumber shooter, littleneck clam ceviche and prosciutto caramelized red onion flatbread. The appetizer includes a tartare trio paired with Mas de Boislauzon “La Chaussynette”, Vin de France 2017. The following course of red fish and artichoke barigoule is served with lou peyrassol, Côtes de Provence 2017. The entrée is lamb kabobs with goat cheese stuffed fried zucchini blossoms and will be accompanied by Château Pradeaux, Bandol 2017. Finally, the dinner finishes with a summer red fruit clafoutis, paired with Daniel Boccard LB, Bugey 2017 .

French Brasserie owner Guy Genoud presents one rosé, one white and one red from three different summer vacation destinations: Provence, Languedoc-Roussillon and Corsica, paired with three small plates.
