Madeleine Dee, Executive Chef & Owner of Fond (FondLouisville.com) announced recently that her restaurant will evolve into a pop up dining concept when her lease at 2520 Frankfort Avenue ends on July 1st.  The decision was impacted by the pending sale of the building.

Fond, which opened its doors in 2015 in Crescent Hill, is a unique fine dining establishment serving tasting menus to only 12 diners per evening. It will find a temporary home this summer at Logan Street Market, where Madeleine will be the Resident Chef. Madeleine will also have a store there offering her product line, Fond Originals, at Logan Street Market.

Says Dee, “Bringing Fond along to Logan Street Market is the most natural and perfect transition for this new chapter of my career. As the Resident Chef, I will be offering regular cooking classes, events, and recipes, so what could be better than hosting my dinner parties there, too?”

She will also be actively seeking in-home and professional spaces throughout the city and elsewhere to do “pop – up” events.

Fond has a waiting list of nearly 800 individual parties and is currently sold out through June. Interested diners should check OpenTable on a regular basis to grab any cancelled spaces and subscribe to the email list on FondLouisville.com! Once July comes, she will be utilizing Tock for reservations.

Madeleine produces a Youtube web series, Easy Elegance, and also runs www.TheSeasonedCynic.com, a lifestyle blog offering recipes, cooking videos, travel articles, stories, and entertaining advice.
