Ever thought about hitting several restaurants in one locale to get a feel for ones you want to return to, but you didn’t know where to start?

Perhaps guidance from the Louisville Food Tour could help in that gustatory adventure.

Business owner Kim Hales will host LFT’s first tour Saturday when she takes a group through NuLu (that’s the downtown East Market Street neighborhood running from about 900 to 500 or so), to explore some of that area’s best local flavors.

All tours so far are scheduled to begin each Saturday at 1:30 p.m. and run until 4, and take guests to several restaurants or bars for small bites and drinks.

Restaurants participating in this first tour are among our favorites: Against the Grain, Cake Flour, Garage Bar, La Coop, Toast, Rye, Wiltshire on Market, Ghyslain and Taco Punk.

Tour guests will meet at the Why Louisville store (806 E. Market St.) before heading out.

Cost for the tour is $48 per person, and reservations can be made by clicking here.
