Been wondering what been going on at the former Ray’s Monkey Bar site, right next to Cumberland Brews?

Well, today you can have a look at the completely overhauled space named Philly Steak and Burger (1578 Bardstown Road).

The interior of the quickservice spot is modern with open ceilings, drum lighting and wooden tables and chairs. Out back is a brand new deck, which should be cool.

On the menu are Philly cheesesteaks, burgers (a few of which are meatless), wraps, hot dogs (four kinds) the usual fried sides (add chili and cheese if you want) and three salads.

Prices are affordable: hot dogs are $4.49, burgers $8+, wraps $7.99 and salads $8.49.

Expect the standard soft-drink line up, a seven-brand bottled beer list (about $2 – $3 each), half of which are Mexican, and a full bar.

Sounds good, eh?
