Louisville Free Public Library is sponsoring food classes and events all through the month of November. If you want to swap holiday recipes, there will be several days at various branches of the Library when you can do that. If you are a fan of murder mysteries that are solved by women who own catering businesses or cupcake bakeries, then the Culinary Mysteries groups are for you.

All 18 branch locations are hosting a rotating curriculum of more than 35 food-oriented workshops, classes and demonstrations for adults and children, all of which are free.

“Snack Food Gross Out” teaches kids about the ingredients in their snack foods that they might want to beware of.“Intro to Food Preservation”  will explain how to get started as a home canner or freezer, and for young adults venturing out on their own without much concept of cooking the “Will it Waffle?” class can give them a few ideas of how to use a waffle maker to cook all sorts of things.

A listing of all the events can be found on the LFPL website.  https://www.louisville.com/content/louisville-library-life-november-recipes-and-cooking-month-lfpl
