Two small local restaurants that specialized in crêpes have closed. For Goodness Crêpes, started in late 2014 by Abby Peak and Carrie Ramsey at 619 Baxter Ave., closed for the Christmas holidays, but never reopened. Four Sisters, 2246Frankfort Ave. which served banh mi sandwiches, soups and Vietnamese coffee, in addition to sweet and savory crêpes, has also closed.

Four Sisters, run by Vietnamese siblings, explained on their Facebook page that they hope to reopen again, in a new location with an expanded menu, but gave no indication of when that might happen.

For Goodness Crêpes has no plans to reopen, and are hoping to sell their equipment.
