Yes, as of this morning, Louisville was leading in the voting for the USA Today Readers’ Choice best local food scene towns. There are 20 nominees on this year’s list – perennials like New Orleans Charleston and of course New York and San Francisco; relative newbies like Raleigh and Asheville, Portland, Maine and Providence –but good ol’ Louisville is now leading the pack, thanks to heavy local voting.
Voting in this case can be done over and over — here is the link. You have to wait between casting votes, so check in with this page often to see the status updates, and to add your vote again. The contest runs for another two weeks or so. Add to your calendar to notify you to vote every day, and pile up those votes.
And be careful of those guys in second place! Some last-minute poll-stuffing is possible, so let’s not get caught being complacent.
