Let’s be honest. Halloween costumes might hold appeal for some, but the sweet treat gathering is deeply ingrained in our culture. Adults no longer need to swipe candy from their kids while “checking it for safety.” Ballotin Chocolate Whiskey has partnered with West 6th Brewing, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, and St. Matthews bars and liquor stores to present adults with their own trick or treating experience where they can drink their sweets at Ballotin BooFest, A “Chocolate Bar” Crawl, in St. Matthews on Saturday, October 27 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Costumes are encouraged.
In addition to Ballotin, Tito’s and West 6th drink specials, the Boofest will feature a “Spin the Ballotin Whiskey Wheel” to win treats at the bars throughout the night, and the first 20 revelers at each bar will receive a swag bag. The swag bags will come in handy for a scavenger hunt, during which you have a chance to win even more prizes by posting a pic and tagging Ballotin after collecting all the items. Dollar donations from drink sales will benefit Apron, Inc.
