Friday, June 6, 6:30 p.m. Winston’s Restaurant, 3101 Bardstown Rd., will host a rare tasting of single barrel Bourbons from Brown-Forman and Buffalo Trace.
The tasting event , which will cost $45, will consist of one-ounce pours of four distinct single barrel bourbons, Old Forester, Woodford Reserve Double Oaked, Weller 7-year Reserve and Buffalo Trace 9-year. The barrels were chosen by Jerry Rogers, owner of Party Mart, who will lead sippers through the tasting. Whiskey samplers will also be served a tasting plate of food prepared by Winston chefs.
For those looking to enjoy a meal from executive chef John Castro before the event, a free appetizer or dessert will be included with the purchase of any entrée. Dinner seating begins at 5 p.m. For reservations call (502) 456-0980.
