Friday, Nov. 4, Brasserie Provence, 150 N.Hurstbourne Pkwy. will host a special “pop-up” lunch, an event they are calling “Carignan Day USA.” Former Lousivillian John Bojanowski and his wife Nicole, who own the Clos du Gravillas Winery in St. Jean de Minervois in southern France, will present their artisanal wines at the lunch, and talk about their experience as wine makers.

The meal will be a hearty cassoulet, the famous stew of beans, sausage and confit of duck or other fowl, followed by dessert. Three of Bojanowski’s well-regarded wines will be served with the meal.

Cost of meal and wines will be $39. Call (502) 883-3153 or go to  brasserieprovence.com
