Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse is marking its 50th anniversary in the restaurant business with a series of special “Veuve Clicquot Champagne Dinners” at its outlets around the country. The Louisville restaurant at 6100 Dutchman’s Ln. will mark the occasion with a dinner Thursday, March 19, at 6:30 p.m.

Champagne experts from Veuve Cliquot will be at the dinner to speak with guests about the history behind the featured selections and their pairings, which will range from vintage to rosé.

 Cocktail Reception: Salmon Tartar on Crisp Cucumber paired with Grand Marnier Smash

First Course: Chilled Jumbo Shrimp with Honeycrisp Apple, Haricot Vert and Dijon Vinaigrette paired with Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label

Second Course: Lobster Bisque en Croute paired with Veuve Clicquot Rosé

Entrée: Filet Mignon with Black Truffle and Foie Gras Butter; paired with Veuve Clicquot Vintage 2004

Dessert: Pear and Almond Tart with Chamomile Tea Whipped Cream paired with Veuve Clicquot Demi-Sec
