In the midst of all the Derby excitement, Fourth St Live! Brings back the annual PIg and Swig where families can descend on the entertainment district for a plethora of tastes and live music from Whiskey Bent Valley Boys, Southern Sirens, and Small Time Napoleon Band.  The third-annual Pig and Swig features smoked meats, eats and many craft beers and bourbons to taste on Saturday, April 28, from noon to 8 p.m.

“The Kentucky Derby Festival is where our city really shines in offering some of the best events for the community,” said Ashley Satterfield, Director of Marketing at Fourth Street Live!. “It is an honor for Fourth Street Live! to officially be a part of the action with Pig and Swig, as this event has become a fan favorite over the past couple of years.”

 

This family-friendly event will feature games and a bouncy house for the kids, and is free to enter with this year’s official Kentucky Derby Festival Pegasus Pin. but tasting packages can be purchased in advance or the day of  that include tasting tokens for food and drinks (see below).

Free parking will be available during the event at the Fourth Street Live! parking garage located on 5th Street between Liberty Street and West Muhammad Ali Boulevard.

On the Pig & Swig menu:

Tasting Package Tickets:

  •         $20 in advance/ $25 day of
  •         10 tasting tokens (value of $2 each – valid for 10 @ 4oz. 5 @ 12oz craft beer samples)

  •         Event T-shirt(while supplies last)

Individual beer tokens will be sold, on site, for $2 (4oz sample) and $4 (12oz).
