The Culinary Crossroads “On the Road Dinner Series” returns to Huber’s Plantation Hall on Tuesday, May 16, 2023. The four-course collaborative dinner casts the spotlight on some of Southern Indiana’s top chefs while highlighting “great food, great talent and great causes.” Participants include four chefs representing New Albany restaurants, as well as one from neighboring Corydon in Harrison County.

  • WHEN: Tuesday, May 16 starting at 6 p.m
  • WHY: As part of the organization’s statewide effort to spotlight Indiana’s culinary community, some of New Albany’s best local chefs will collaborate during the Culinary Crossroads On the Road Dinner Series on Tuesday, May 16. Each chef will create a portion of the four-course meal. The menu is designed to spotlight some of Southern Indiana’s top culinary talent.

Featured chefs include:

  • Ming Pu, culinary director/chef at Brooklyn and the Butcher, The Exchange Pub + Kitchen and Outcast Fish and Oyster Bar
  • Scott Dickenson, chef/owner at 1816 Modern Kitchen & Drinks
  • Mark Ford, executive chef at Outcast Fish and Oyster Bar
  • Zechariah and Kimberly Maxey, chefs/owners at Leaven Bakery

Tickets start at $150 and can be purchased online. In addition to reflecting Culinary
Crossroads’ theme, “Great food, great talent, great causes,” the initiative highlights
Indiana food products, compensating participating chefs and making a financial
contribution to each chef’s cause of choice. Presenting sponsors include Go SoIN and
Ivy Tech Community College.
