Today, Tuesday, Nov. 28, Cuvée Wine Table, 3598 Springhurst Blvd., will donate 10% of all sales to the Food Literacy Project’s #GivingFoodDay. The charity hopes to raise $6,400 to cover the cost of its Field-to-Fork Club in 2018.

The Food Literacy Project works with public schools to bring students out to Field Day Farm to see how food is grown, nurtured, harvested and prepared for eating. The Field-to-Fork Club intensifies nutritional education by giving selected students weekly experience on the farm, and wider instruction in healthful eating. The students’ families are also involved with the Farm-to-Fork Club projects.

According to a press release from Cuvée Wine Table, “Through the Club, youth are empowered as leaders in their schools and families, sharing new knowledge and passion for healthful foods and cooking new recipes with fresh vegetables they harvest themselves.”

Cuvée Wine Table is open 4:30 – 10 p.m. serving a selection of shared plates, flat breads, salads and desserts, and a global list of value wines selected by master sommelier Scott Harper. For more information, go to www.CuveeWineTable.com
