While not exactly Homeric, a 15-month odyssey of forced relocation has at last concluded for Del Frisco’s Steakhouse, which opened Sunday at 101 Whittington Parkway in the Hurstbourne Town Center, the restaurant’s new home.
In 2019 Del Frisco’s was forced to close its doors at 4107 Oeschli Avenue in St. Matthews when the building’s roof collapsed.
The updated Del Frisco’s website greets the visitor with the word “rediscovering,” and this seems appropriate given the length of the absence. For more on the back story, there’s a previous F&D post from August.

According to the website, business hours are Monday through Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.; Saturday 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.; and Sunday 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
