APRON Inc., a local nonprofit that helps support restaurant workers forced to take time off due to an accident or illness, will benefit from diners eating today, Wednesday, Feb. 8, in any of the 50 restaurants participating in the periodic Dine Around for APRON fund raiser. Participating restaurants will donate a portion of that day’s proceeds to APRON’s fund.
It’s the fifth year for Dine Around for APRON, with all proceeds going directly to APRON, which in turn will provide temporary financial aid to servers, chefs, bartenders and others who can’t work. In 2016, Apron gave out more than $40,000 in grants.
Dine Around for Apron will take place all day long on Wednesday, Feb. 8. Below is a list of participating restaurants.
