Thursday, Nov. 9, 6:30 p.m., Brasserie Provence, 150 N.Hurstbourne Pkwy., will host a wine dinner featuring wines from Tuscany, Piedmont & The Veneto, what the restaurant is calling “the Holy Trinity” of Italian wine regions.

Regional Wine Director David DuBou of Indigenous Selections and Advanced Level Sommelier Julie DeFriend of Vintner Select will be at the dinner to discuss the wine pairings and the wine traditions of the three regions of Italy.

Chef Patrick’ Gosden’s Italian menu will begin with antipasti of tomato and artichoke bruschetta, olives and prosciutto de Parma, served with Prosecco and Contratto apertif cocktail. Dinner itself will begin with white truffle risotto and braised rabbit, followed by the pasta course, Tuscan lasagna. The carne will be veal scaloppini with Gorgonzola dolce sauce, and the dessert will be Noce de Veneto cheese with Valpolicella-poached pears
