Grind Burger Kitchen’s evolution from food truck to out-of-the-way hole-in-the-wall destination for fans to renovated space in hot restaurant row of NuLu is now complete. After a weekend soft opening, the new restaurant at 829 E. Market in the former Bodega/Earth Friends site will open at 11 a.m. today, Tuesday, Dec. 22.

In the move to NuLu, owners Jesse and Liz Huot will have a more conspicuous site, a dedicated parking lot and the potential for new NuLu-focused customers that might not have made the trek to Preston Street, their former location.

Chef Jesse Huot builds his upscale burgers with his own blend of beef. But he also offers chopped chicken sandwiches, fancy grilled cheese, a Cuban sandwich. The new location will have a full bar and a promise for an interesting beer list.
