It has been two years since our last glance at WNB Factory, a chain/franchise eatery founded in Atlanta in 1997.
Apparently it has been tough sledding for WNB’s local franchisee, as two of the three Louisville area locations have closed: 3733 Lexington Road in St. Matthews, and 10224 Taylorsville Road in Jeffersontown.
As for the latter, reporter Michael L. Jones at Louisville Business First uncovers a new tenant: J-Town Big Bites.
J-Town Big Bites to replace shuttered WNB Factory
A new fried chicken restaurant, J-Town Big Bites, is set to open in the former WNB Factory location at 10224 Taylorsville Road in Jeffersontown. The new restaurant will serve chicken tenders, salads and burgers, according to Matt Meunier, Jeffersontown’s director of community and economic development.
The new 2,100-square-foot J-Town Big Bites will be operated by Shree Balaji Inc., which is registered to Anil Kumar, according to Kentucky Secretary of State records.
Chicken lovers, unite!
