The Kentucky Restaurant Association’s annual Taste of Louisville dates to 1974, making it by far the most enduring of tasting events in the city’s modern history. A moveable feast, this year’s 48th edition of Taste of Louisville shifts to the Mellwood Art Center (1860 Mellwood Avenue) on Wednesday, October 12.

“We love Taste of Louisville because it gives us an opportunity to showcase our restaurant to a large diverse group of foodies. We see lots of our current customers and get an opportunity to meet many new ones. It never fails that in the few days after the event, people with visit the restaurant and say they saw us at the Taste! It’s a great time for everyone.”Ray Watkins, General Manager – Selena’s at Willow Lake Tavern

The Kentucky Restaurant Association Louisville Chapter has been hard at work ensuring this year will be just as exciting and delicious as years past.

“It has always been in Gordon Food Service’s DNA to support local restaurants. This is why we’re proud sponsors of KY Restaurant Association’s annual event The Taste of Louisville.” — Tom Enyeart, Gordon Food Service, Title Sponsor and The Taste of Louisville Co-Chair

Besides being an epic night of tasting and sipping, there will be lots of giving back!

Frankie’s Family, a local non-profit, is the beneficiary for 2022. The organization was started by one man who dared to care for kids in need, especially during the holidays. Frankie Hilbert and his team have helped hundreds of “adopted angels.” Last year they raised over $53,000 and adopted a total of 530 Angels: 430 Children & 100 Seniors. We are excited to aid such a worthy cause!

“Frankie’s Family is honored to be a part of the 48th Annual Taste of Louisville and to work together to help those who are in need in our community. This partnership will help us continue our “Family” mission this Holiday season so we can provide for so many children who otherwise wouldn’t have anything on Christmas Morning! We hope to see everyone out supporting this great event! We are so excited and can’t wait for Oct.12!” — Frankie Hilbert, Frankie’s Family Founder
