No one really needs a good excuse to eat out in Louisville. Well, maybe you do on a Tuesday night, when you don’t normally have a date night. 

Consider doing that for the upcoming APRON Progressive Dine Around on Jan. 28. Visit a local restaurant for a worthy cause and get a great meal in the process.

APRON is an organization formed by local independent restaurants to support employees facing financial crises due to health emergencies or other devastating circumstances. Too few restaurant employees have back-up resources, such as insurance, in the event of an emergency, and they often face dire consequences when they can’t work.

APRON helps out in these causes.

A portion of your money spent on Jan. 28 would go to helping them, and the group has a goal of raising $5,000 that night. (And if you’re so moved, give an extra donation on top of your meal. Just ask your server how to do that.)
