Tomorrow is Fat Tuesday, what the French call Mardi Gras, the day before Lent begins, so it is the time to chow down on rich foods. The Exchange Pub + Kitchen, 118 W. Main St., New Albany, Ind., will provide that opportunity with one of the great Louisiana Mardi Gras traditions, a Crawfish Boil.

There will be plenty of bibs to go around (eating crawfish is a bit messy), and some other things to eat as well: house-made gumbo and cajun étouffée. Specialty drafts on tap include Abita’s Mardi Gras boch. Executive Sous Chef Joseph Horneman will have a King Cake (with the “baby” inside for one lucky guest) to complete the festivities.

Tickets are $55, which includes tax and gratuities, and can be ordered here.
