That would be Wednesday, May 28, and to mark this auspicious event, the Bristol Bar & Grille Downtown, 614 W. Main St., will offer a special brisket dinner from 6-9:00 p.m.

On the menu will be braised beef brisket from Stone Cross Farm in Taylorsville, Kentucky, served over house-made pretzel bread and topped with a Shelby County favorite, Hot 2 Trot Horseradish made into a mornay sauce.  It will be garnished with diced tomatoes and local bacon.
