The Brown Hotel makes that Christmas resolution easy to do with two Christmas dining options, a formal dinner in the English Grill, and a more casual experience in J. Graham’s Café.

Seating is available in the English Grill at noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. The cost is $69 per person and $22 for children ages four to 12. The English Grill Christmas Day menu includes an appetizer buffet with tomato soup with Roquefort, house-smoked salmon with lemon caper goat cheese mousse, shrimp cocktail with house cocktail sauce, oysters Rockefeller, charcuterie and cheese, salads, and assorted breads. Served entrée choices will be scallops and shrimp with white cheddar grits, filet of beef with rosemary red potato mash and asparagus or chipotle-spiced loin of lamb with dried cherry fig reduction and heirloom baby carrots. A variety of desserts will be served on a Viennese buffet table.

The special buffet in J. Graham’s will feature traditional Sunday brunch with such additions as a bourbon-glazed Kentucky ham carving station and holiday salads for $32 per person and $19 for children ages four to 12. J. Graham’s Café will be open during regular hours on Christmas Day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
