Olé Restaurant Group, the creative force behind Mussel & Burger Bar, El Taco Luchador, Mercato Italiano and Guaca Mole Cocina Mexicana announced today the reopening on Friday, April 6 of  Artesano Vino Tapas Y Más located in Westport Village,  1321 Herr Ln #130 .  The Spanish small plates restaurant had been shuttered several months after extensive flooding.

 “We are really passionate about Spanish, Basque and Catalan cooking” said Olé partner, Chef Fernando Martinez in a press release. “Sometimes there is opportunity in the face of adversity and we used the opportunity to improve the design of the restaurant, including adding more private dining. We also worked to refocus the menu on the best of all the regions of Spain.”

 Olé has recruited Brian Curry, formerly of Napa River Grill and Beaumont Inn, as Executive Chef. Curry, Fernando Martinez, Yaniel Martinez and Olé Corporate Executive Chef, Zachary Wolf, worked months perfecting the new menu with an emphasis on tapas, montaditos and pinxtos, along with wines from the Iberian Peninsula.

 Hours will be Mon. to Sat. from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.  From 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Mon. through Sat., Chef will offer a rotating selection of montaditos for $3, along with $1 off draft beer, $5 house made sangria and $5 house red and white wines.  Full dinner service begins nightly at 4:30 p.m.  The restaurant boasts of a covered outdoor lounge with firepits and sofas.

 Artesano will also be offering a four course Derby menu for $75.00 per guest.  Limited seating is available viaopentable.com or by phone: 502-708-2196.
