Two chain restaurants fairly new to the Louisville area have announced plans for adding additional outlets. Zeggz Amazing Eggs opened last April at 4600 Chamberlain Ln. After almost a year in getting the concepts of the chain tweaked to fit the local market, a second outlet is set to open in Middletown at 11615 Shelbyville Rd. in February. A third site at 2400 Lime Kiln Ln. is possible in the future, if the second location hits the ground running.
Zaxby’s, whose menus feature zappetizers, zalads and wings and fingerz, and already has six area outlets ranging from Fern Valley Road to New Albany, has announced plans for yet another store at 13811 Terra View Trail, in the East End. No opening date has yet ben set for the new location.
