Following apparently unsuccessful efforts to find a buyer, Pivot Brewing Co. has announced that it will close both locations at the end of August. This post at Facebook provides the requisite details.
To our friends, fans, and familiar faces, thank you for the outpouring of support you have shown us since Pivot Brewing Company first opened our doors back in 2016 in Lexington, and again in 2023 in Louisville. We couldn’t have done it without you.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Pivot has reached the end of this incredible journey. All retail operations will cease, both in Lexington and Louisville, on August 31st, 2024.
It remains to be seen if the Pivot brand may find new life elsewhere in the future, but for now, this is goodbye. We invite you to join us all this month as we raise a glass to Pivot’s legacy as Kentucky’s first solar-powered cidery, with a special farewell celebration – Our Last “Last Call” – at both locations on our last day, Saturday, August 31st. Come send us out in true brewery style with one final cheers!
