According to WDRB-41, no official closing date has been announced for the original Cheddar Box (3909 Chenoweth Square in St. Matthews). However the lunch spot will depart after more than four decades in operation.
The Cheddar Box Cafe and Cheddar Box Too will remain open.
The Cheddar Box St Matthew’s, owned by Nancy Tarrant is closing after 47 years. The Cheddar Box Cafe Middletown, owned by Michelle Bartholomew is open. The Cheddar Box Too, owned by Mike Strata is also open. Three different owners with similar business names.
