Outside, inside.
Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse (325 W. Main, downtown; also at Facebook) has closed temporarily for renovations and is expected to reopen in August. The Louisville location opened in 2006. Michael L. Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse to close Downtown restaurant for multimillion-dollar renovation
Britney Ruby Miller, CEO of Jeff Ruby’s Culinary Entertainment, said the company decided to reinvest in the Louisville restaurant to maintain the high standards in design and service that local patrons have become accustomed to. The company hasn’t finalized the price tag yet, but she said the renovation will be a multimillion-dollar project.
“We love Louisville and we love the restaurant,” Miller said. “The Louisville location is incredibly busy at all times and so you are going to have natural wear and tear on furniture and also on equipment. We want continue to provide the community with a very, very beautiful restaurant that they can be proud of. Restaurants die when you don’t reinvest.”
Jeff Ruby’s Culinary Entertainment operates seven restaurants across Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee. It also operates an event venue called the Lempicka by Jeff Ruby in Cincinnati.
