According to its website, Limón y Sal (10000 Brownsboro Rd.) “brings spicy chilis, bright lime, smooth guacamole; cold beers, delicious margaritas, and craft cocktails to Louisville.” Now there’ll be a second location in St. Matthews at a familiar space.

Here’s the text:

Hey St. Matthews! ⚜️

So, here’s the deal: Limón y Sal is leveling up and we’re opening a SECOND LOCATION on Shelbyville Rd! 🎉 Yep, we’re taking over the old Raven Irish Pub/Molly Malone’s in St. Matthew’s Station, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring our taco magic to a whole new crowd!💚

You might be wondering how we’re going to handle all this deliciousness. Honestly? We’re just going to keep doing what we do best: serving up good food and good vibes while trying not to trip over our own enthusiasm.

Thanks for being the best community ever! We can’t wait to see your lovely faces at both spots soon! 💚🌮

Limon y Sal opening restaurant in the former Raven location in St. Matthews

Limon Y Sal is opening a new location at 3900 Shelbyville Road.

Co-owners Diego Carmona and Porfirio Ledezma … are longtime friends who were both born and raised in Mexico. They also both spent most of their lives in the service industry.

Limon y Sal offers appetizers, street tacos, quesadillas and burritos. But its menu also includes traditional Mexican dishes like Oaxacan mole enchiladas, a mango jicama salad, and a Mexican street corn salad.

The approximate timetable calls for a November opening.
