Driven by simple, rustic ingredients and inspired by the sounds and aromas of al fresco Parisian cafés. Rosettes is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.
According to the Louisville Courier Journal, the Rosettes eatery has left its hostelry at 730 E. Market St. in NuLu. Writer Amanda Hancock quotes a hotel-generated statement.
“To make way for an exciting new concept, the all-day restaurant at Hotel Genevieve, Rosettes, is closed as of Monday, August 5. We look forward to seeing the space evolve as we welcome new food and beverage partners in the coming months.”
The advent of Rosettes in early 2023 was greeted with a buzz owing to the presence of chef Ashleigh Shanti as culinary director. However, a September 2023 article by Tiana Kennell in the Asheville Citizen Times places Shanti back in Asheville at work on her own projects, so we can surmise that the Genevieve gig had concluded for her by then.
However, more recently a July 16 post at Facebook has Drew Corman (ex-Naive and Nostalgic) coming aboard as executive chef at Rosettes. Those of a disposition to extrapolate might ponder the aforementioned new concept.
