Shiraz Mediterranean Grill, which currently has three stores in Louisville, is planning on adding three more in the area within the next year, and is considering expanding outward to Lexington, Elizabethtown and Frankfort, Insider Louisville reported recently.
A downtown outlet is expected to open before the end of the year at 237 S. Fifth St. It will be the first Shiraz that will offer breakfast wraps and cakes, coffee and bagels, though breakfast service will not kick in for a few months.
The second new store will be in the suburbs, at 4610 Chamberlain Lane, and a third one is planned for Jeffersonville, on Veterans Pkwy. That store will not be ready until the end of 2016, depending on the progress of the retail complex that is yet to be built.
