Asia Institute – Crane House is a community resource that promotes understanding of Asian cultures and heritage through education, outreach, and the arts.

The Asia Institute – Crane House‘s Lunar New Year Gala will be held on Saturday, Feb. 17 at Mellwood Art Center.

A six-course menu of elevated modern Asian cuisine stands out, including signature drinks, wine, sake, soju, and Asian-inspired canapés. Participating chefs are Ming Pu, Vanessa Felix, Brent Mills, Nokee Bucayu, Aileen Brua and James Moran; coordinating chefs are Moran and Dan Thomas. Complete menus can be accessed here.

AICH is hosting our annual Lunar New Year Dinner and Auction – Year of the Dragon on Saturday, February 17th at Mellwood Art Center’s Van Gogh Room. This year’s dinner and auction will feature the tastes, sights, and sounds of the Lunar New Year celebration.

Enjoy an evening of six-course elevated modern Asian cuisine, signature drinks, wine, sake, soju, and Asian-inspired canapés.

Enjoy the heart-pumping live performance from River Lotus Lion Dance, Dragon dance choreographed by Oreya Dance and Cardinal Bhangra.

Proceeds will benefit AICH’s education initiatives: Teach in Asia, STARTALK Summer Mandarin Camp, Special Exhibitions, lectures, workshops and other programs which are all open to the public.
