There’ll be a new tenant in the long vacant space at 1023 Bardstown Road in the Highlands, formerly known as one of several ex-Mellow Mushrooms.
Writing at Louisville Business First, Michael L. Jones delves into the entities currently working together on the project: Beyond the Sun, a restaurant and lounge, to open in former Mellow Mushroom space.
Bullaudy Real Estate Corp. Inc. and Beyond D Sun Corp. purchased the building at 1023 Bardstown Road from SDG 1023 Bardstown Road LLC for more than $2.1 million in early September, according Louisville Metro Government records. The deal was brokered by TRIO Commercial Property Group. SDG 1023 Bardstown Road LLC is a subsidiary of Louisville-based Schulte Hospitality Group, owners of Joella’s Hot Chicken. Amet Bullaudy Fundora is listed as president of both Bullaudy Real Estate and Beyond D Sun Corp., and a sign on the more than 6,500-square-foot building advertises the Beyond the Sun, a modern restaurant and lounge.
F&D’s contribution to the jigsaw puzzle comes as the result of a quick Facebook search, which landed on Sol Aztecas.
