As is his habit, Michael L. Jones has the whole story at Louisville Business First.
Blondie’s & Jim’s Bistro brings health-conscious take on Southern cuisine to Norton Commons
Blondie’s & Jim’s Bistro, which is named for (owner Tonya) Godsey-Lowe’s parents, offers soups, salads, sandwiches and healthy Southern-inspired entrees. The café also serves brunch on the weekends. Prices range from $7 to $30.
Godsey-Lowe said her jambalaya, Southern gourmet chicken salad and salmon have already proven to be popular dishes. The recipes she uses are inspired by her two grandmothers, who were both cooks.
As Jones notes, since 2016 Godsey-Lowe has run a seasoning company called Keep It Spicey, with spice blends that are used at the new restaurant, and can be purchased there.
