At Louisville Business First, Michael L. Jones finds that the former owners of Hibachi Sushi Buffet have opened Blue Bay Seafood & Sushi, a new restaurant in South Louisville at 4322 Poplar Level Road, which previously housed Ville Chicken.
Kevin and JoJo Dong were the owners of Hibachi Sushi Buffet, located at 5316 Bardstown Road in the Piccadilly Square shopping plaza, which closed in July.
JoJo said the menu at Blue Bay includes a few favorites from Hibachi and Ville Chicken, which she and her husband owned with a friend for five years.
“We added sushi in the menu and a few items from our buffet restaurant that were very popular with the customers,” JoJo said. “We took time to remodel and fix everything. Some people were calling wanting to know when we will open again.”
Blue Bay Seafood & Sushi’s listed hours: 11:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 11:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Sunday. For the Facebook page, go here.
