Tuesday, April 19, Seviche, 1538 Bardstown Rd., will show the 2014 film “The Hundred-Foot Journey” starring Helen Mirren in the restaurant’s private dining room. A dinner with a menu based on the foods suggested by the movie will be served during the showing.
The story is centered on an Indian family who moves to France and opens a restaurant across the street from a Michelin-starred French restaurant. A sort of war erupts between the two establishments, until, of course, love and a shared love of food bring everything to a happy conclusion.
Showtime is 6 p.m. The dinner menu will include a broth flavored with lime, coriander and garam masala; a truffle omelette; potato samosa with onion chutney; boeuf bourguignon; and apple tarte tatin with cardamon ice cream.
