A fire last week in the 400 block of West Market primarily damaged Osaka Japanese Restaurant (in the building where the fire originated) and its neighbor, The Salad Chic. The latter suffered water damage. Both are closed pending repairs.
Adjacent to them, The Grüv Sports Bar & Lounge closed briefly, then reopened over the weekend, and is again closing for a few days to address its own post-fire maintenance and repair needs. Grüv also is spearheading efforts to raise money to help get The Salad Chic back on its feet.
It’s a fluid situation and we’ll pass along updates when available.
