For aficionados of Cordish Co.’s lineup of Fourth Street Live chain restaurant links, there is an unfortunate departure to report.
The closing of Locos (412 S. Fourth St.) actually occurred earlier in the month, as Louisville Business First’s Michael L. Jones reports.
Locos closes Fourth Street Live location amid rising costs
Locos co-owner Cory Starcher said the company plans to relocate the business in Louisville. “Unfortunately, we did have to close our location at Fourth Street Live due to less traffic and rising rent costs,” Starcher said in an email. “We are, however, looking for another location currently in the Louisville area.”
Alas, until a better location for Locos comes along, mamacita will be looking elsewhere for sustenance.
