The fire that destroyed Sam’s Food & Spirits in New Albany late last year put a pall over the restaurant’s many fans, but owner Sam Anderson is plugging on.
Anderson and his crew are planning to convert their catering and events space in Clarksville to a restaurant serving Mondays-Fridays by last spring according to manager Jane Alcorn.
The Montrose Events Center, 318 W. Lewis and Clark Parkway in Clarksville, will be converted to a full-service restaurant, while Anderson continues to serve their Steaks, seafood, sandwiches and pastas at their second location at 702 Highlander Point Dr., Floyds Knobs.
