In F&D’s Summer 2024 print edition, Cary Stemle profiles Mulligan’s at Glenmary (10200 Glenmary Farm Dr.), with photos by Dan Dry. The saga of the former golf club, which had gone to seed, took an upward turn when its 46 acres were purchased by Louisville real estate developer Chris Thieneman.
Late last year he opened Mulligan’s at Glenmary, a dining, event and recreational venue. The restaurant is a 50-50 partnership with Ernesto Rivera, a longtime presence in the Louisville dining scene. Thieneman controls the rest of the project, which currently includes cornhole and sand volleyball. They’ll soon open pickleball courts and a speakeasy, with long-range plans calling for a wedding venue, amphitheater, driving range, par 3 golf course and more.
