File under “better late than never” (especially when the news feed is otherwise barren): Pier 17 Cajun Seafood Restaurant & Bar Dixie (5362 Dixie Highway in Pleasure Ridge Park) closed permanently at the beginning of October.
The original Pier 17 at 1975 South Hurstbourne Parkway remains open as of this precise moment.

Dear valued customers,
Starting October 1st, Pier17 Dixie Hwy will permanently close. We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you who have supported us and enjoyed our seafood over the years.
Our Hurstborne location will continue to serve you with the same dedication and delicious seafood you’ve come to expect. So, while we may be saying goodbye to this location, we’re excited to welcome you at Hurstborne Pier17.
Thank you once again for being a part of our restaurant family. We look forward to seeing you soon in Hurstbourne and creating more wonderful moments together.
