The Silver Dollar opened for business in late 2011, occupying a lovingly restored old brick firehouse at 1761 Frankfort Avenue and quickly becoming emblematic of Louisville’s (then) emerging status as a destination for lovers of quality food and drink.
When COVID arrived in 2020, The Silver Dollar’s owners proved to be among the local hospitality industry’s most circumspect operators pertaining to thoughtful considerations of safety and integrity, and only today will regular on-premise patronage resume at the establishment.
