The Summer 2023 issue of Food & Dining Magazine — our 20th Anniversary issue — is now available in all the familiar places: Louisville area eateries and food shops, newsstands and online.

In a letter posted at Wild Ginger’s web site, it is revealed that the Asian fusion restaurant in the Highlands will close permanently following service on June 24.

** SATURDAY, JUNE 24TH, WILL BE OUR LAST DAY **

Interestingly, no mention of Wild Ginger’s impending demise is made at the restaurant’s Facebook page, but no matter. This letter certainly seems to constitute the final word.

Wild Ginger first opened in the old Cafe Metro space (1700 Bardstown Road) in late 2010, Robin Garr offered a review in the early days, and in 2015, F&D’s Ashlee Clark Thompson had a look at the eatery as part of our one-time “$10 Challenge” series.
