Louisville Originals has run its course and will dissolve, according to an information release. Member restaurants will continue to honor promotional redemptions — web certificates, white gift cards and rewards cards — through June 30, 2020.
Rewards points will no longer be added after December 31, 2019, and reward accounts must be registered online to redeem. White gift cards are no longer available for sale.
Louisville Originals was formed in the late 1990s to help market and support locally-owned, independently operated Louisville restaurants, local chefs and local ingredients.
The organization’s mission statement summarizes its two-decade-long aim.
As a group, we work together to make sure that your dining experience at one of our member restaurants is a uniquely “Louisville” experience. The Louisville Originals believe that our restaurants are the heart & soul of our city!
Louisville Originals helped support many community activities and non-profit organizations, and probably will be remembered most fondly for its popular rewards program, featuring quarterly discount web certificate sales and universal white gift cards.
