APRON Inc.’s 10th Annual Dine-Around will be held from March 13 – 19, 2022 (Sunday through Saturday). Whereas in previous years the non-profit received a percentage of proceeds from participating restaurants, this time around it’s about consciousness-raising.
During the week of March 13 – 19, we simply ask the community to rally around our restaurants and “dine-around” in as many independent restaurants as they can, and tell them APRON sent you. In addition to supporting the restaurants during this event week, people can make financial donations at anytime through APRON’s website.
As Fox noted in an information release: “You are going to be eating anyway- why not spread a little love?”
APRON Inc. was created in 2011 to help provide financial relief to food and beverage industry workers in the Louisville, Kentucky metropolitan area who find themselves in need during times of crises. Through no fault of their own, clients have either experienced financial distress due to an illness or injury, or other life hardships such as a housefire or flooding. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, APRON Inc. has stepped up with a far greater volume of assistance to local workers than ever before.
