There is a new option in Clifton for food and drink. A few days ago WDRB-41 went to 2354 Frankfort Avenue (it’s by Walgreens where Ewing Ave. crosses Frankfort) and took a look at Avenue Bar.
Featuring a fusion menu and craft cocktails, Avenue opened its doors at the former home of Matt Anthony’s Record Shop and Nita’s Package Liquor Store after a nine-month renovation process … Avenue’s executive chef said he is taking food from around the world and crafting it into taco-size portions. You can enjoy the food and drinks indoors or on the restaurant’s patio.
Avenue’s owner is Andrew Pruitt, and he’s keeping operating hours of 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m., seven days a week. Avenue Bar’s page at Facebook has more, including this good-to-know tidbit about the patio.
