Crowler Catering is a new online shop at HB Productions, and in turn, HB Productions is Tisha Gainey, Trevor Cravens and their signature late winter Tailspin Ale Fest, which has grown into one of the most respected of regional beer festivals.
Billed enticingly as a “Food, Booze and Beer Shopping Experience,” Crowler Catering kicks off this week with a Trifecta feature for $45, which includes a Triple Crown Pie (chocolate chips, pecans and a quarter cup of bourbon in each) as baked by Chef Ellen Gill McCarty; a 25.4-oz crowler (aluminum can) of West Sixth Elijah Craig Barrel Aged Porter; and a Tailspin Server Apron.
Pick up and limited delivery starts Wednesday, April 29, and supplies of the Trifecta package are restricted to the number of pies Chef McCarty baked. Pre-orders are being accepted at the present time.
Here’s the fine print: all orders containing alcohol must include at least one food item, and shoppers must be 21 years of age with an ID to produce upon delivery or pickup. Limited delivery is available for these zip codes: 40202, 40204, 40205, 40206, 40207, 40217, 40222, 40223, 40241, 40242, 40243 and 40059; orders over $25 qualify for free delivery.
